Job Summary

As an Inbound Sales Representative, you’ll have a knack for converting inbound leads by identifying client needs and preparing compelling proposals to help detect workplace hazards and risks. You’ll play a key role in guiding clients through their protection plans and compliance requirements, while building trusted, long-term relationships across a range of industries.

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial acumen with strong communication skills to engage new and existing clients across our core service streams – occupational hygiene, asbestos, noise and safety consulting. This role offers the opportunity to develop into an Account Manager, where you’ll manage your own client portfolio and play a key role in long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads enquiries via email, web forms, and phone calls

  • Qualify opportunities and understand client requirements through effective questioning.

  • Prepare tailored proposals, including formulating the scopes of work to assist with the detection phase

  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records for all leads and opportunities.

  • Follow up on proposals, manage your sales pipeline, and close out proposals on time.

  • Work closely with the clients, JTA project Coordination Team and Consultants to ensure service experience is exceptional

  • Build and grow client relationships across selected segments.

  • Track key sales metrics work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to achieve targets

  • Work long-term with clients on the protection phase.

  • Identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities from client enquiries.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years in a sales, quoting or client-facing role (preferably B2B).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • High level of organisation and ability to prioritise competing tasks

  • Proven ability to handle multiple enquiries and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and commercial judgement

  • Experience using CRM systems and preparing detailed proposals.

  • Strong customer focus and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Interest or background in health & safety, environmental services, or technical industries is a plus.
