Senior Finance Business Partner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the high-performing finance team of a well-known Australian retail business. With a strong national presence and a reputation for design-led products, the business continues to grow and offers a collaborative environment where finance plays a key role in supporting commercial decision making.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play a key role in financial planning, analysis and strategic insight. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes across business units

• Developing financial models to project long-term growth and evaluate business performance

• Analysing financial and operational results to provide insights into business performance

• Preparing business cases to support investment and strategic initiatives

• Delivering competitor analysis and market insights to senior leadership

• Providing detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre performance

• Identifying productivity improvements and cost optimisation opportunities

• Communicating insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision making

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years’ post-qualified experience, ideally gained in a large, complex business. You will be ambitious, hands-on, and commercially minded, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner across functions. Excellent communication, a proactive approach, and a passion for driving continuous improvement are essential.
