We are partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to appoint a Finance Business Partner to support one of its key operational divisions.
This organisation plays an important role in delivering essential community services across Western Australia and is continuing to grow and evolve its programs and impact.
Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with operational managers, this role will operate as a trusted finance partner, providing insight, analysis and commercial support to help guide decision-making and ensure the sustainable delivery of services.
This is an opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with the business and influencing outcomes beyond traditional reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with operational leaders to provide financial insight, analysis and decision support
Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
Deliver timely management reporting and variance analysis
Provide financial modelling and business case support for new initiatives and programs
Monitor financial performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities
Support funding, contract and program reporting requirements
Build financial capability across operational teams and support strong budget ownership
You will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and translating financial information into meaningful insight.
You will bring:
Experience in management accounting or finance business partnering
Strong skills in financial reporting, forecasting and analysis
The ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or a related discipline
Experience within the not-for-profit, healthcare, community services or government-funded sector will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
