The Opportunity:
We’ve just opened a brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop facility and we’re building a high-performing team to match it.
This is a mid-level Administration Officer role suited to someone who can operate independently, manage competing priorities and take real ownership of the workshop administration function. You won’t just assist, you’ll run the administration side of the workshop efficiently and proactively, ensuring everything behind the scenes operates as smoothly.
Reporting to a highly experienced Maintenance Manager with over 25 years in the industry, you’ll be supported by a hands-on leader who understands workshop operations inside and out. You’ll be trusted to take the lead on your function, backed by someone who values capability, initiative and getting the job done properly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing administration support to the workshop team
Managing phone and email enquiries
Data entry, updating and maintaining spreadsheets
Reconciling databases to ensure accuracy and integrity
Preparing regular reports
Developing and improving office procedures
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Communicating effectively to meet stakeholder needs
Contributing to continuous improvement of systems and processes
Adhering to company policies, procedures and HSE obligations
Participating in relevant training
Undertaking other duties as directed by your manager
What We’re Looking For:
Experience managing a similar administration role with minimal supervision
Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound problem-solving ability
Certificate IV in Office Administration (or equivalent) will be highly regarded
