This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts, managing variations and claims, and ensuring timely payments. The Project The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. Key Accountabilities for the Position:Maintains detailed understanding of head contracts and subcontract templates, ensuring timely administration of noticesPrepares and compiles contract documentation and work scopes in collaboration with project managersCoordinates subcontractor tendering, negotiation, recommendation, and contract executionEnsures subcontractors meet all pre-commencement requirements including insurance and statutory obligationsPrepares and agrees on progress claims and extension of time claims with clientsManages tender evaluations and recommendations for subcontractor selectionProcesses subcontract variations and assesses extension of time claimsFinalises claims and secures Contract Value Agreements for project completionRequired SKills and Experience:Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontract templatesAbility to manage contract documentation and ensure compliance with timing and procedural requirementsExperience in preparing scopes of work and coordinating subcontractor tendering and negotiationsKnowledge of subcontractor approval processes including insurance and statutory complianceSkilled in preparing and negotiating progress claims and extension of time claimsProficiency in tender evaluation and recommendation processesAbility to process subcontract variations and assess extension of time claims accuratelyExperience in finalising claims and securing Contract Value AgreementsWhat we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
