ALI Operations Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Officer / Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis at our seafood processing facility in Hamilton Hill.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a hands-on and varied role supporting day-to-day administrative, compliance, and operational functions within a busy seafood processing environment.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in accounts processing, maintaining compliance documentation, coordinating logistics, and supporting smooth day-to-day administrative operations.

You will work closely with operational staff to ensure documentation, inventory records, and logistics processes are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and accounts administration
• Inventory management and stock tracking
• Preparing and submitting DAFF documentation
• Recording, filing, and maintaining documentation for compliance and audit purposes
• Organising daily deliveries and coordinating freight bookings
• General document control and administrative filing
• Coordinating packaging requirements and preparing stickers for pack-outs and processing
• Banking and basic financial administration
• Coordinating boat store orders (as required)
• Booking vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Managing staff amenities and office supplies
• Assisting with HR administration
• Coordinating general site housekeeping requirements, including waste and bin collections

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
Experience using Xero accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing compliance documentation
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, practical, and team-focused approach
• Experience within food production, logistics, export, manufacturing, or other regulated industries will be highly regarded

Desirable

Diploma of Accounting
• Experience with Cin7 inventory management software
3+ years’ experience within factory processing or the seafood industry
Fluency in Mandarin will be advantageous
