About The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer/Accounts Assistant to join our team in our Wangara Head Office to work on a 15 hour per week Part-Time basis. As the Accounts Receivable Officer/Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing end to end accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and supporting the business through strong financial controls and reporting. Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To Prepare and issue invoices across group entitiesEnsure accurate billing, receipting and debtor managementComplete bank, Accounts Receivable and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with cash flow reporting and month end journalsSupport audit requirements and ensure legislative complianceInvestigate and resolve billing discrepanciesLiaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate contract and billing setupProvide support to senior finance team members as requiredContribute to a collaborative, compliant and safe working environmentMaintain ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 2+ years’ experience in an Account Receivable roleTertiary Qualification or Cert IV in Accounting/ bookkeeping (desirable)Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel)Excellent communication and organisational skillsGood understanding of basic accounting principlesLarge ERP system experienceMUST hold valid Australian Working Rights.
