Backed by a substantial copper-equivalent resource and significant exploration upside, the company is progressing its flagship project toward development while playing a key role in supplying the metals essential for global electrification and the energy transition The Opportunity Reporting to the CFO, the Financial and Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial records and the accounts email while processing invoices, payments, and other transactions. Support reconciliations, month-end and year-end close activities, and assist with tax and compliance tasks such as BAS, payroll tax, FBT, R&D, and income tax.The Financial and Accounting Manager will also work with the Commercial Manager to track project costs, monitor feasibility, and report on tenement expenditure. Coordinate project purchase orders and ensure they align with budgets and project controls using the ERP system. About you We are seeking an organised, analytical and proactive team member to contribute to the success of the business, the successful candidate will have the following: Qualification in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or related field.5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and accounting principles with a comparable entity.Experience working within exploration project feasibility processes.Cost management and reporting.Proficiency in accounting software.Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Why this Role?
