About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.Responsibilities:Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP);Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time;Perform month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting;Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner;Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts;Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management;Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations;Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies;Support annual audit, company tax return and FBT processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations;Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems;Other Ad Hoc Duties as and when required Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle)Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting toolsExcellent attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesGood communication and interpersonal skills Key Skills:Full-cycle accounting (AP/AR)BAS preparationMonth-end closing proceduresGeneral ledger managementFinancial reporting and analysisBank reconciliationsTax compliance knowledge
