Accounts Assistant

Cossill & Webley is a market leading engineering consultancy, specialising in land development and infrastructure projects.  We are actively recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join and further expand our Subiaco-based Support Services Team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Assist with day-to-day financial administration including accounts payable and receivable.

• Assist with the processing of monthly client invoicing.

• Assist with basic payroll tasks such as timesheet entries.

• Company card reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Support our bookkeeper with data entry and general accounting administration.

• Liaise with internal staff, suppliers and clients regarding accounts queries (when required)

• Assist with month-end processes and financial documentation as required.

• Ad Hoc administration tasks

We are looking for someone who has:

• An interest in accounting, finance or business administration.

• A friendly and welcoming manner – believes in the importance of contributing positively within a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with accounting software is advantageous).

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• An efficient and organised approach, with the ability to show initiative.
